About
Hi there! I am a science nerd with a passion for the gym, and I like to take an evidence-based approach to PT work. In my sessions, I like to mix elements of pure strength training (barbell movements such as the squat, bench press and deadlift) with plenty of machine- and free weight-based bodybuilding work, while adapting the program to fit your individual goals and limitations.
I am a Level 3-certified personal trainer, and hold a BSc in Biomedical Science, which helps me interpret and stay up to date with recent research in the fields of exercise and nutrition. Personal experience has also made me very interested in how mental health, chronic pain and exercise interact.
My aim is to use my passion for weight training and science to make a difference in my clients' lives, whether it be through building confidence as someone new to the gym, finding enjoyment in the process of training and chasing PBs, adjusting training around pain/injury, or simply establishing a habit of exercising consistently.
Outside the gym, I also enjoy swimming and learning new languages.
