About Us

Our first club in Ashton opened January 2011 and has been a huge success since day one. The club is situated on North Street, right in the heart of Ashton, Bedminster and Southville, and is just a stone’s throw away from Ashton Gate Stadium – home to Bristol City FC and Bristol Rugby.

Workout Ashton has almost 14,000sq ft of gym and studio space, made up of a large cardio room, free weights and Olympic lifting room, machine weights room, functional training room, a ladies-only weights room, a yoga/pilates studio, a spin studio and a large group exercise studio. 

Other features include sauna and steam rooms, a full-time reception team, an on-site healthcare clinic, changing and shower facilities, and free parking.

Monday – Friday 6am – 10pm
Saturday & Sunday – 8am – 8pm

We have free parking at the main site of Workout Bristol as well as around our exercise studios on Baynton Rd. 

When you join with us, you are invited to have an induction free of charge. Our gym inductions are designed to provide you with essential health and safety knowledge and a basic understanding of both the cardio and resistance equipment available. (However, you can opt out of this if you wish)

What is a programme? 
It's personal training without the regular expense. A 1hr session working out the best options and best workouts for your goals. Expert knowledge in all fields from losing weight to bodybuilding, beach body, wedding body perhaps or injury recovery. Whatever your aspirations they can be achieved. (The cost of this programme is £20)

What's the Annual Development Fee for? 
We have asked that all members pay an Annual Development Fee of £15.00, all of the money raised is invested straight back into the club. Examples of purchases we have made with the development fee in the past include gym equipment upgrades, sauna & steam room, new spin bikes and more.

Cancellation Policy 
There are no contracts at Workout Bristol so this means that you can cancel and restart your membership with us as you see fit with absolutely no hassle. 

I am not getting results can you help? Yes with affordable personal training! 
As well as the exercise programmes that we mentioned above, we also have in house personal training staff for more 1-1 in depth and on going professional support. If you are interested in personal training you can either speak to us at reception or email us -

Do I have to book a space for classes? 
Yes, you will book your classes through the members section of the website 48hrs in advance. 

What Classes do you offer? 
We offer a range of classes, from relaxing yoga to extreme body conditioning and everything in between. You can check them out in the classes tab of this website.

Are the classes free with my membership?


I'm not a Member. Can I come to classes? 
Non-members can take part in classes at a cost of £7.50 per class.  If you are not a member but want to book a class, you just need to create a free online account on our website and purchase classes from there.  Payment is taken via the website.

How many classes can I attend per week? 
The amount of classes you can attend per week is unlimited!

How often does the timetable change? 
We are constantly reviewing our timetable and taking feedback form our members. We try to change our full time table every 6/12 months.


We offer over 60 free exercise classes per week with a wide variety of activities on the timetable, whether you want to get stronger, fitter, more mobile… or just relax and have fun

We ensure all our classes are specifically designed so that beginners and more advanced exercisers can take part in the same classes together.

We have classes for everyone, ranging from spin, yoga, HIIT and pump to the more traditional step, circuits and LTB. We also offer boxing fitness, kickboxercise and we even have karate! 

Our class instructors are all fully qualified, experienced and very friendly and welcoming.
